2023年8月，在珠海金湾区海湾的一个废弃的糖厂，“红旗糖厂”发生了一个艺术项目《雄士重生》，徐坦和一位刚刚美国文理学院毕业的年轻女艺术家合作，共同制作了一件作品：《甜蜜的废墟》，这是一个以社会调研为基础的艺术作品，通过对这家废奔的红旗糖厂以及周边环境进行调查研究，了解这片沿海地区的白然环境的改变，产业变迁，白然地貌的变化，以及人类行为,社会活动的历史变化。针对这些事件研究，搜素出关键词，再进行录像编辑创作，然后在废弃糖厂的现场播放。

In August 2023, an art project "Rebirth of the Ruins" took place at the "Red Flag Sugar Factory", an abandoned sugar factory in the bay of Zhuhai's Jinwan District, where Xu Tan collaborated with a young female artist, Xia Zichun, who had just graduated from a liberal art college in the United States to produce a work of art called "Sweet Ruins". This is an artwork based on social research, through which we investigated and researched the abandoned Red Flag Sugar Factory and its surroundings, to understand the changes in the natural environment of this coastal area, the changes in industry, the changes in the natural landforms, as well as the historical changes in human behaviours and social activities. In response to these events, keywords were searched for, and then the video was edited and created, and then played at the site of the abandoned sugar factory.
